Making everyone happy
Ross says he's ecstatic about the way the new office turned out and that it meets his goals - to get patients in and out quickly and to give them the best experience possible during their visit. He also wants his staff to be happy and able to work as comfortably as possible in the new space. In the future, he hopes to bring on a partner who embraces dentistry, has some experience and brings energy into the equation.

Until then, Ross seems to be doing a good job of keeping the energy level up on his own. He has been listed as one of Washington, D.C.'s “Top Dentists” by Washingtonian magazine in every issue since 1984, and his clients keep coming back. Maybe it's the friendly hello at the front door, the VIP treatment, the ease in which procedures are performed, or maybe it's the doctor's prescription for joy that he sends patients home with a small bottle filled with M&Ms that reads, “For a magnificent, marvelous patient. Take one or more as needed. Chocolate: 200 mg pills. Quantity: not enough. Use: before you're home. Refills: let us know how we can help.” Ross knows why people keep coming back: “If you're going to be able to take care of people in the best way possible, you need to see them - so you better make it fun.”
