Each of the office’s operatories features a different color and style of A-dec chairs and cabinetry, giving patients a unique experience every time they visit the practice. Chairs in vibrant colors give the ortho bay a whimsical feel that caters to Dr. Ong-Veloso’s young patients.

Though the office is located in a rural area, Apple Valley residents have embraced the doctor’s unique take on comprehensive family dentistry. The practice receives hundreds of new patients per month. “I’ve been doing this for almost 30 years and it’s one of the most modern and incredible offices I have ever seen. I can’t compare it to anything,” Mothershead said.

While the décor and technology make the practice stand out, it’s the kind and caring staff that keep patients coming back. “They are a big part of his success,” Mothershead said. “They do an incredible job.”

As a result of the practice’s incredible growth, Dr. Ong-Veloso’s associate, Dr. Joy Helou, has gone from working part time to being in the office six days a week. Additionally, the doctor has added three hygienists and several other staff members. In the future, he plans to expand into the building’s remaining 2,300 square feet of space. “It’s a night and day difference,” Dr. Ong-Veloso said. “I love coming to work every day.”
