Perseverance Pays Off
His dream of building a new office took longer than expected; however, Dr. Glenn Ong-Veloso never gave up
When he graduated from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 1997, Dr. Glenn Ong-Veloso had an ambitious plan. He wanted to build his own state-of-the-art practice within 10 years. He immediately started taking steps toward this goal, purchasing land for the practice the first year he made a profit.

Though he had to overcome a few obstacles along the way, Dr. Ong-Veloso didn’t let anything stop him from building the practice of his dreams. Since opening the doors to his new 6,500-square-foot, 10-operatory office in late 2010, his productivity has tripled and he is at 95 percent capacity. “It’s beyond my dreams,” he said.
Overcoming Obstacles
In 1999, Dr. Ong-Veloso purchased a 1,000-square-foot, three-operatory dental office in Apple Valley, Calif., for his cosmetic, orthodontic, implant and general dentistry practice. As the practice grew, it became clear that the space would not accommodate the patient growth or Dr. Ong-Veloso’s high tech vision.
