The number of technology apps and resources available on Patterson Dental's new online Explore Store continues to grow. The latest addition, RevenueWell, is an online system that helps dental professionals attract new patients, promote services to existing patients and increase patient satisfaction with very little effort from the doctor and staff.

Launched at the Chicago Dental Society Midwinter Meeting in February, RevenueWell is already making a difference for many practices. Getting More Value from Existing Practice Software
RevenueWell works by integrating with the office's existing practice management software and using account, procedure, appointment and chart information from these systems to automate many day-to-day practice marketing and patient communication activities. For practices using Eaglesoft, one of the industry's most comprehensive practice management software platforms, RevenueWell is a great fit. Yet the service can work with other systems as well, helping dental professionals get more value from their existing infrastructure. "A practice management system like Eaglesoft has a tremendous amount of intelligence and patient information built right into it," said Alex Nozdrin, a founder at RevenueWell. "RevenueWell helps offices make the best use of this data by mining it for the right triggers and automatically communicating with patients on the dental team's behalf."
Growing Production, One Engaged Patient at a Time
Some of the above-mentioned communications focus on delivering better patient care. For example, RevenueWell's automatic post-op instructions feature monitors patients' accounts for common treatments like fillings, root canals and crowns, and automatically sends the patient an email with post-op instructions as soon as they leave the office.
Other messages aim to increase the practice's production by bringing patients back into the chair for all recommended treatment and maintenance. RevenueWell's integrated patient recare program is one example of this, allowing the practice to configure a schedule of email, direct mail and SMS messages to automatically recall and reactivate patients who haven't visited in a while. Similarly, RevenueWell can monitor patients' charts for any recently diagnosed treatment plans and send them treatment plan presentation emails, videos and letters to ensure patients don't delay getting the care they need. In all, the system can automate over 20 types of typical patient communications, from welcome packets to birthday cards to expiring insurance reminders and many others.
