A Humble Beginning
It took only five months to complete Dr. Todd’s five-operatory, 4,675-square-foot practice, which he named Chace Lake Family Dentistry. Dr. Todd has plenty of room to grow – two rooms currently being used for patient consultations are plumbed and ready to be converted to operatories when the need arises. There is also an upstairs loft that he can expand into, if necessary.

Since the practice opened in June 2011, Dr. Todd has done little marketing, instead relying on word of mouth, social media, his website and the building’s unique exterior to drive new patients to the practice. His strategy is working – he has built up 600 patients in less than nine months. “It’s humbling starting a practice from scratch one brick at a time,” Dr. Todd said. “When you see that your patients trust you, it revitalizes your faith.”
Dr. Todd sees his new cutting-edge practice as a reflection of his commitment to his patients. “Our patients feel welcome here and realize that we aren’t in this for the money. We really do care and want to make a difference in their lives.”
